Respecting their wishes, no announcement was made. The following is everything I know to be fact. I am heartbroken to say that Anderson was at a friend's home last Sunday night, 3/23/14, when a fire broke out (what type of fire has been speculated upon, all I know for sure is there was a fire.) Her friend got out, thought she was right behind him, but she wasn't. He went back in to try to get her, but was overcome by smoke. The firefighters got her out, but she had been deprived of oxygen for over 15 minutes. They took her to the hospital, where they placed her on life support. Her parents got the news the next morning. On Tuesday morning they did an mri and found basically that if she woke up, she would have no quality of life. Her parents wanted to donate her organs but that was not possible. On Friday morning, 3/28/14, her parents made the decision to take her off life support. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. My awesome boyfriend is giving her kitties a permanent home. With all the folks willing to help the cats, they should have better lives than most children. Anders will be cremated, no funeral. Her parents are planning a memorial in May, as soon as I have any details I will post here. Again, this is EVERYTHING I know." |
