True story. Their license said 18+ though, cause at the time smoking was allowed in Cambridge clubs and it had something to do with that. Now that everything is no-smoking around boston and cambridge, what is it that makes these licenses what they are? |

And yeah I DEFINITELY heat that about the bar cause i remember all the stuff that ManRay would go through to make the bar the focal point and draw out the bucks...cause there's not a lot to be made with covers. You take in you $10 and that's it per person, no second $10 once the place is packed. So you either deal with making the door and give up or you sell drinks and continue to make money until you close at 2AM. but that said, couldn't clubs start to find a new way to make money till the end? I mean, besides selling just alcohol? Like juice, or...I dunnow something that people by in large amounts, over time, and very much when under diress? |
