did anyone see RUSH last nite?
they were fucking awesome. plenty of dragons lasers and dancing skeletons and neal peart throwing his drum stick 30 feet in the air and catching it.
theres been like 3 or 4 bands ive seen whos musicianship is fucking mind boggling (suffocation, recently) and jesus christ their fucking amazing. they played for like 4 hours and played some really obscure stuff like b-sides theyve never played live before
also, plenty of topless biker chicks and 45 year old drunken party animals. fucking awesome, rush rules

i went to that show. it was great. neil peart is my favorite drummer of all time and even though i usually hate drum solos, his is amazing. they kicked ass last night. they left out a lot of my favorite songs, but that's always going to happen with a band like rush. i was in such a bad mood before the show but by the end of their amazing set, i couldn't have been happier. that video intro with jerry stiller was hilarious. what a great show.

yeah man i love when i pay alot for a show and actually get an awesome show. that rarely happens. kiss and rush are the only 2 bands i can think of that never disapoint
