A good analogy that I'm sure you would remember, is how popular opeth has become. I remember back 10 years ago when nobody really got into their live music that much and people would be talking during their set. Now, you're lucky to even catch a whiff of Mikaels ass. Granted opeth got a lot more popular, but metal as a whole is the same. Palladium shows, even 5 years ago were way better. There's a growing split between popular extreme metal, and underground extreme metal. They aren't the same anymore. |
