Well he's recieved the disc now and apparently he has now seen photographs of us live and doesn't feel we fit the 'look' of the rest of his roster (which consists of bands I've never heard of or anyone mention ever). But, we're undecided as of right now whether we want to go down this road right now. First off, our opinion of the band was misconstrued from the moment we saw the actual cd and the clearly juvenlie scripture written on it, not to mention the whole bandana and formal attire at live events. You guys might be playing this all off as a joke and poking fun at the whole fashioncore scene thats completely plagued the entire US this past year, but we won't be the label to bring that sort of juvenile fashion bullshit to the death metal scene. It has no place in extreme music. Now like I said, we don't know you guys personally nor have we actually seen any of your shows, so maybe this is all water under the bridge by now. But judging by the slew of pictures taken by RTTP, it still could be occuring now. I thought the same thing before he even first approached us when I came across his label sometime ago and was just like who the fuck are these bands? No offense to any of the bands btw, but I've just never heard nor seen any of the bands on the label mentioned anywhere. It's funny because he seemed really serious when talking to us and made it clear that we would need to TOUR if he's going to put any effort into us which is understandable. But like, I've never seen or heard any band on Deepsend ever playing any shows around here. It must be ultra underground kvlt "we only play deep in the woods" shows that I've missed. |
