Cythraul, which GSS are so proud to affiliate with, has christian ties with their drummer, and a lot of the other bands from RI and MA are just side projects made by hardcore kids for fun because it's popular to try and act evil. You can't really name one band from MA that's that special. Most of them are cought in between the dead corpse paint act of old which looks ridiculous nowadays, and the new black metal which isn't really black metal at all. If you want to hear some truly inspirational black metal music, but that will never get signed because it's not a Satyricon clone like all the bands from RI and MA, check out this one man band A.L.M., that's real darkness, quite original too. www.myspace.com/alienlanguagemisanthropy |

Even people that actually know good music. But you see, I don't even consider Amputator a MA or RI band, they sound like they come from Brazil or something, they are far too harsh of a band to be affiliated with MA or RI so-called "black metal" which sings about trolls, forest fairies, and oh yeah dead poets society like Gayside Service does. Their so called originality is in itself unoriginal. |
