There's a lot of quiter bits that most certainly aren't typical 'black' metal. Certainly dark music, like maybe Scratch Acid or early Swans, but not what you'd normally hear from the Darkthrone/early Burzum school. I look forward to hearing more from this guy. |

BFD just releases tape called Demos 2000...it's a compilation of Leviathans more recent demos..I think it's already sould out though. Glad I grabbed my copy already! Xasthur got old quick. Too many releases and I hate to say it but they start to sound the same / lose their sense of originality. There isn't much progression from one release to another...Don't get me wrong, I love most of the releases, I just dont need any more and I may trade off one or two of those ones I dont listen to as much simply because I dont need THAT much Xasthur... |
