They were self-proclaimed REAL metal (aka 50th rate Cradle Of Filth/insert crappy gothic nu-metal band here rip-off that said they sounded like Amon Amarth). They were all nicey nice with my old band, Upon Crimson Wings. Behind our backs they said that we weren't real metal. We sucked ass, but I don't think they were in any place to determine who was and wasn't "real" metal. After a while, the band broke up; the drummer became an overnight straightedge youth crew hardcore kid, the bassist started Scarecrow Hill but as the drummer/singer (cited as saying, "Those assholes kicked me out. I'll show them what a mistake that was, Scarecrow Hill is the REAL shit, blah blah blah.), and the singer and guitarist started Coldread, an equally bad, delusional nu-metal Marilyn Manson/Slipknot/other crap band that qualify themselves as "spiritual metal." I graduated high school with their keyboardist/sampler/whatever who wears gas masks and other stupid shit at shows, accompanied by punching himself and trying to do anything he can to make himself look "like, sooo crazy." This kid is 24 or 25 years old and he's still doing that shit? Dumb. Clearly, these guys are all "real" metal. But I digress... I say the cool people get out of this area for a day or two and we drop napalm on Plymouth county. |

They have classic hits such as: I'm Sorry Your Cat Has Ass Cancer I Put A Baby In You Singing Death Metal With A Mouth Full Of Lucky Charms (or something to that effect) The Hand I Beat Dogs With (a song about picking up girls that hang out at rauncy sports bars) Shower Games And the list goes on. |
