Just get a diffuser dome. You can get them for cheap. I think I got 3 of them for my sb-900 after I lost the original for $10. The original piece is $17 ea. |

They are useless and I wish they didn't come on flashes. They have zero to do with diffusion. IMO you should keep and use a piece of gear for a minimum of one year and use it constantly before you upgrade anything. |

I never liked the weird opening thing on some bags. Like the flipside or the fastpacks in Lowepro. Get a cheap used one off of Adorama then not much of a loss if you don't love it. I have gotten bags for $40 off there in perfect condition just so I could see if I liked it before I spent 100's. |
