shanghai valentine: I've talked with one of the band members via email but never checked them out before. they were a mixture of rock and drunk punk. sort of like a better version of the explosion with out all the crappy rockstar bs.

holy mountain: I again had no idea what to expect. I thought it was going to be like the body or backstabbers inc or something like that. but it was hardcore punk. the mosh broke out for them. it was funny to see some two stepping in that small place.

I think that was my favorite set with The Taste of Silver last night, thanks soooooo much to everyone who got down and screamed their asses off with me, and to everyone else who just showed some energy, it was great.

Hegelian Dialectic I enjoyed, not as much as PFAP but I think when I see them with dual vocals I'll love that shit fully.

Birth Rites was fucking amazing, I also picked up their new full length and its pretty good, I have to say I prefer the live experience though, it just makes me want to fuckin' dance my ass off!

Thanks for everyone's feedback, that was such a good time. I'm glad you guys liked our half assed set,it is way better with Maxwell.Crust/oldschool hardcore is where it's at. Metal is just getting to boring for me,don't get me wrong I still love metal.I seriously had a spiritual expierence during tos I fuckin love you guys.

oh, the TOS set was the best I've ever seen.
but Rowan, you are a little off on your rant there.... I was trying to say it then, but you were not listening quite right on the NPR/Public broadcasting thing.
here's the deal, it's not just in mass. it's in all of the US. it's slashing the the CPB funds. that means that about 7% of the budget from NPR would be cut. for NHPR that would mean about $100K per year or 2 1/2 employees.
I listen to NPR all the time.

yeah I agree pfap and satsf were both better bands.... T.o.s.'s set was really good!! Birth rites was good live but on the cd not so good.

psst... 40% of the budget cut hits local stations.
the bill is in the house right now.
I doubt it could get through the senate cause the democrats will filibuster it OR moderate repulicians will kill it.
