well i can agree with you guys that this dude is a douche bag. i mean. he booked a show headlined by despised icon and advertised it on this site for 6 bucks. then maraculously the day before it changed to 10. then we got to the door. it was 15!!!!!! and i said fuck it i drove from ri to see despised icon. so after about 6 bands play. a few of which were great and i did not regret going to this show after all. but....despised icon ended up being a no call no show. thats fucking bullshit they were never going to come. he probbably never booked them. plus the dude has the balls to ask me for a ride home. he said hed give me 10 bucks to drive him to some place near boston. fuckhole!

Firstly, Kenny didn't book DI. Our bassist Chris did. He pretty much handed Kenny a nice 4 band bill with DI, and just wanted a place to do it.
Kenny then added a bunch of bands to the bill, failed to procure a P.A., Raised the prices at the door, and once again refused to pay any of the bands, even after he had assured bands with guarantees they would be paid.
Then he and that asian kid tried blowing smoke up our asses about what a huge favor they were doing us, and how they were losing money out of pocket on the show.
If you can't pull a profit off a show, and you know you can't, why would you agree to pay guarantees?
Also, at the beginning of the night, Kenny came up and apologized to me about the fiasco at sausage fest. He said he'd quit drinking, had gotten his shit together, and wanted to book us again. By the end of the night, he was piss drunk, and kept asking us to play a show over and over again - even after I'd said no we weren't available at least 3 times. After the last time, I told him I'd kill him if he asked again. 2 minutes later, he asked our bass player if we could do the show.

the funny thing about the DI show was that he called me literally as i was walking out the door to go there...after the supposed "load-in time"...and he stutters for about a minute and i say

We've had issues with Kenny in the past, Jeff our guitar player almost knocked him out outside some place in Worcester, I think it was Octaine. He's never payed us a dime which isn't that big of a deal considering we're not really drawing a lot of people or any for that matter. But the guy does get us shows, and sometimes they are quality, I don't think we're really in a postion to say no to that, but I would never sacrifice my integrity to do any favors for the kid thats for damm sure.
