I have an album with outtakes from a session Jimi did with a horn section. It's actually pretty cool (I am also a huge Chicago fan) but the way Jimi bounced around from idea to the next so quickly during the last couple years of his life I really doubt the Jimi/Miles thing would have ever ended up happenning if it didn't happen by the time he died. |

I don't know if he really counts as a 'performer' per se, but Sergio Leno died at 60 years old but only a few years after making maybe his best movie and I've read that he had another in the works and plently of other projects he was working on. If he could have lived to 70 he may have had 1 or 2 more and they'd likely be in my top 10. |
