| _________________________________ [May 8,2009 11:38pm - RustyPS ""] WEEI has been speculating on the baseball roids stuff vs. other sports....the prevaling theory among the hosts is that the records/numbers in baseball are much more sacred than they are in the other sports IMO it has a lot to do with the baseball media...just look at how Olney/Gammons/Kurkjian are currently skirting around this Manny story....they don't want to deal with it.....where as the football media faces it head on when it comes up, which is rare I think its just that its more taboo in baseball than it is elsewhere |
