Remember that gay band Nothing Face?
My old band opened at the Pantera show at the Tsongas Arena. Nothing Face's label bought them onto the tour. We had our shit in the hall backstage and one of the Nothing Face fags walks by and laughs at our equipment. He says to our drummer, "Dude, that's just a practice kit, right?"
So, drummer boy (John Kevorkian) says something to the effect of "no, that's my real kit, we're not gay enough to have a major label buy us equipment"
Phil Anselmo happened to walk by when John said that and laughed his ass off. The guy from Nothing Face suddenly changed his attitude and acted like he was just kidding.
So, he's a double faggot. First for caring about the quality of our equipment, second for backing down because the singer of Pantera laughed at him.
The moral of this story is that bands who have their equipment paid for by major labels or mommy and daddy should shut the fuck up about DIY bands.

I would like to say, for the record (in my own defense), I have never alienated or offended anyone who could actually make any difference to any bands I like. Atleast not to my knowledge. For one they just seem to be cooler people, and two I am running a business. The nu-metal band seems so intent on talking about how my attitude and the fact that CWAF and KA left after Bane of Existence is bad for the scene. That band is not in the same scene. For a band who just formed and isn't at all involved with the our scene, they sure are experts on how unproductive I am.
Not to mention all the times Brad has helped out at some of the Block shows with sound. Way to not support bands Brad.

My opinion on this band is that they sounded like marylin manson mixed with slipnot, not very appealing. I did however get to whip the hot blond manager chick (the singer's girl) while she was snapping 80,000 pics of the band. I still think the bassist is fucking HOT!!!

I don't know about anyone else who talked to him, but if Phil is trying to claim I edited anything in the conversation then he is lying to try to look like less of an idiot. I seriously doubt that Brad or Ben edited anything either.
As far as having a narrow view of music, I would say that a person who plays in a band like Wretched Asylum would be more narrow minded then a person who bashes metalcore or nu-metal. Top 40 music is inheritantly 'dumbed' down to appeal to a larger market, so for a musician who plays more of a niche sound and is more talented or plays a more original/ less 'dumbed down' style of music then that makes them more open minded, in general.
This guy Phil from WA is like 23 or something, and playing high school watered down mall goth rock stuff, so he is either really pathetic or in this only to make money. I think he is more the pathetic type, trying to act like he is above this name calling sort of activity, but lets not forget he messaged me first. Through my findings I have found out that Wraithious actually followed the guys from Wretched Asylum back to their rehearsal space after that show with a couple other people. He helped them unload gear and then smoked some drugs with them as well, all while telling them how much he enjoyed the show. Some even more interesting news is there's a rumor there is video footage from the night (which I have not seen, so I cannot confirm) of Wraithious up front through the entire Wretched Asylum set cheering them on. Not whipping anyone, or expressing his dislike for the band, although it's true that he does have whip in hand. I will get my hands on this video.

it is true that I went back, helped them unload, and got them baked, I was hanging out with my co-worker that night and didn't want to make a big scene or to take off on him when I said I'd hang out with him, so I was respectfull to them too. This is surely the reason they are no longer.
What is it with death metal and young upstart bands always fucking owning the big names? First Decapitated kicks everyone's ass, and forces bands like Deicide and Morbid Angel to get their shit together back in the turn of the millenium, and now there's Dissector. The average age of the band members is 16, yet their sound is so true to the old school, you'd think these guys were old farts like Jeff Walker. Much akin to Carcass, their main influences lie in bands like Repulsion, Impetigo, and Nihilist- with some Exhumed-style vocals breakdowns to spare.
The minute the sample ends in 'Autopsy Assault' the blastbeat hits and you know this isn't some ordinary band. They're nothing special when it comes to technical skill, but this isn't technical death metal to put the kids to sleep. The fact that they're a by-the-book death/thrash metal band is what allows them to be so great - they isn't anything like this now. Of course, there's the all-out boner-wah-solo extravaganza song, which goes by the name of "Zombi Incantations." Oh fuck, what a solo. It's not that it's particularly hard, but like I said before, it just fits so well. Considering the fact that this whole demo was recorded with just a Boss mic, the production is damn good too. Higlights are: "Zombies Raped your Girlfriend," "Zombi Incantations," and the now-classic "It came from the Nutsack." Make sure to get the re-mastered version when it hits because there aren't any copies of the original anyone will ever be willing to give up.

Okay I just read everything since my last post, this cocklover guy is a moron and definately some how related to Wretched Asylum because he is trying so incredibly hard to not make the same mistakes that Phil made in the conversations he had with me. My guess is that it probably is Phil, because he talks just like him and Phil has been trying hard to not come across as a retard in his conversations with Ben, but since he is a moron that plan backfired and he actually looked like even more of a retard.
Notice how often he mentions he is not violent, and tries to word sentences like he is some intellectual, yet at the height of passion he falls out of character with statements like "If Halloween gives you a right to dress up like zombies, what gives you the right to be a shitty band?" and "I actually enjoy being a troll.
