I laid the smack down and completed that mission but then, without warning, I'm 3/4 of the way through another random mission and the sun comes up and I'm a fucking vampire...I had no idea so I had waited a bunch of different times and was deep into my vampirism so its a huge pain in the ass to un-do it so I went all the way back to my save from the day before and just skipped the vampire cave...that wasted like 3 hours. after all that BS I did like 2 tiny wack ass misc quests before I had to fall asleep. |

| ______________________________ [Nov 16,2011 2:14pm - ark ""] bears and cats sometimes make noise from far away so they can be easy to spot, but they're also sneaky motherfuckers. i find myself sneaking around if i have low visibility. remember if you know how to treat giants, they will help you. the attacks aren't really random but it depends on the area you're in (i.e. fields around whiterun, versus deep forest/away from roads) |

Its a great game, more addicting than i thought it would be. My only issues are predictably with the combat system. Its needs a lock on feature when you are close up. 3rd person is feels retarded even though i prefer that viewpoint usually. I wish there was some way to dodge and have it take stamina. Also does hitting someone in the head do more damage? |
| ______________________________ [Nov 16,2011 3:55pm - ark ""] the combat is no dark souls for sure. it is different. i don't like 3rd person in this game. it's possible to dodge attacks but you have to predict how their swing is going and you don't get a speed bonus, you just have to be damn good. head damage does do more. i guess there's a reason you can't lock on, you are just supposed to land your hits and you don't get any help. i could be wrong, but dodging might be a perk in one of the skill trees. i know decapitations are in the "two-handed" skill tree. i think there's a quick dodge in the "sneak" skill tree but i'm not sure what it does. |
