Yes, but be sure not to read the comments after, as most contain complaints about how badly broken the PC interface is, and how the game appears to be another console version ported to PC as far as interface, display, and graphics are concerned.

there's no doubt a few console genes that screw up the PC version. it's not THAT bad, not at all. i've noticed some quirks especially with the crafting windows.

I actually chose the power at the start to control animals but haven't been making use of it much. I'm trying to level up my conjuration so I can just summon a tank whenever I need one. Right now I can only conjure a familiar which is way too weak to do anything.

I just started using destruction and conjuration magic. Pretty fun when dual wielded with melee. I still love sneaking with the bow though. and now I dont have to bother with a heavy ass shield.

Sniping with a poisoned fire-damage bow with 3x damage while sneaking feels so good. Until some high level dude hits me with a giant mallet.

I mainly meant that because once I had logged over 100 hours in Oblivion and found damn near all the locations I didnt see the need to take 45 minutes walking from one place to another. I only use it occasionally now. I even cheated and looked up where one of the stones was and looked for 30 minutes and found nothing. I AM FAIL

I climbed the mountain to the Gray beards and got my new yells. Now I'm on the quest they sent me on. I got rocked by giant spiders and a fire floor before I gave up last night. I hope I'm not moving to fast through the game withought improving my abilities.

A "tank" meaning any character strong enough to take the AI's focus off of me and attack them instead for an extended period of time. Right now the AI will attack the summoned wolf I have but it gets hit like once and dies.

Run into the left corner, watch the small spiders die. The big spider is a bitch, but can be taken down with a spell easily. You can run from it too. But the horn aint there.

For the guy looking for the tank:
Go to Falkreath. Walk outside town and find the talking dog, Barbas.
Don't complete his quest.
You now have a completely invincible dog that draws aggro like mad and doesn't count as a follower. So not only is he the perfect tank, but you can still bring another follower along to make a nice little party.
I finally finished the dog quest, and was amazed at how much harder the game/combat got without him.

At one point I went outside and walked into the kitchen. Didn't realize there was a dragon outside. I heard the commotion and ran back into the living room to find I was completely unharmed, whilst the doggy and Lydia had fought the dragon without me and killed it on their own.
